"Azerbaijan's revenues from gas exports are gradually approaching the revenues obtained from oil exports". The head of the Oil Research Center, Ilham Shaban, said this in an interview with Medianews.az.
Referring to the customs report, I. Shaban stated that in 2025 the average price per 1000 cubic meters of gas exported by Azerbaijan was 350.23 dollars: "Whereas in the state budget the export price of gas was forecasted at 242 dollars.
In 2025, Azerbaijan's revenue from crude oil exports was 12.1 billion dollars, and from natural gas was 8.82 billion dollars".
