After a wedding ceremony, a family of 9 who went to the opposite shore of the river to pick fruit capsized their boat due to heavy rain while returning.
According to local authorities, 3 of the people in the water were rescued with their own efforts and the help of fishermen.
During the search and rescue operation, the bodies of 3 people including 1 woman were found. The search for the 3 missing children continues with the participation of divers.
Officials have called on residents to stay away from the river bank due to unfavorable weather conditions.
