As of October 1, 2025, the average monthly nominal salary of paid employees in Azerbaijan reached 1087.7 manats. The average salary in the mining industry is 3675.2 manats, in financial and insurance activities 2918.4 manats, in information and communication 1872.2 manats, in professional, scientific and technical activities 1806.2 manats, in transportation and warehousing 1529.8 manats, in public administration and defense; social security 1469 manats, in real estate operations 1209.5 manats, in construction 1156.4 manats, in electricity, gas, and steam production, distribution and supply 1111 manats.
Medianews.az reports that the State Statistics Committee ranked the remaining types of economic activities by average salary as follows:
manufacturing industry - 987.9 manats;
healthcare services and social services provision to the population - 940.3 manats;
activities in the field of recreation, entertainment and arts - 871 manats;
education - 801 manats;
accommodation for tourists and public catering - 782.1 manats;
water supply, waste collection, treatment and disposal - 746.3 manats;
trade; repair of motor vehicles - 739.6 manats;
administrative and support service activities - 719.3 manats;
agriculture, forestry and fishing - 684 manats;
other service activities - 1281.9 manats.
The minimum monthly wage in the country is 400 manats.
