Warning from the expert: A good sleep requires preparation throughout the day

Spanish professor Alfredo Rodrigues Munyos stated that the quality of people's sleep has seriously deteriorated in modern times.

Medianews.az reports that, according to Munyos, stress is the factor that most disrupts a person's normal sleep.

"Stress keeps the body constantly in a high state of readiness, increases cortisol levels, accelerates the thought process, and makes relaxation difficult," the professor emphasized.

The specialist added that stress disrupts sleep, and poor sleep makes the body more sensitive to stress.

According to the professor, preparation for healthy sleep should be done throughout the entire day. "Many think that they can just lie down and sleep. But the body must receive proper signals throughout the day. If we go to bed with tense and anxious thoughts, it will be difficult to fall asleep," Munyos said.

This statement has once again brought the impact of stress on sleep quality in modern lifestyle to the forefront.
