The decision that Azerbaijani national football player Mahir Emreli will make in the summer will be one of the most important in his career.
Medianews.az reports that the 28-year-old forward stated this in an interview with "Report".
He did not rule out the possibility of leaving Germany's "Kaiserslautern" club:
"They asked the head coach whether there is a chance that we won't see Mahir next season? If I am not mistaken, it was a similar question. He confirmed and said 'yes'. Coaches usually do not give such statements. This is not only a decision they will make. If the transfer is confirmed, we can say more. The decisions are mostly made by the management. If I were someone who seeks comfort, I would have stayed at Croatian club 'Dinamo'. I was playing regularly or not playing. I was competing there with the main football players of the Croatian national team. They had won medals at World Championships. But my desire to play always came before other matters. The decision I will make now will be one of the most important in my career. Because this decision will either move us forward or keep us in place. Therefore, it is necessary to think carefully, consult, and make a decision. I can stay at the club or leave."
