Four people were injured as a result of strikes on the strategic Sirik port in southern Iran, causing significant damage to maritime infrastructure.
Medianews.az reports that "Al Jazeera" cited Hamidreza Mohammad Hoseini Takhti, head of the ports and maritime affairs department of Hormozgan province, as the source of this information.
According to him, one person was seriously injured and evacuated to a hospital in Minab, while the other three received medical assistance on site.
He noted that the port was attacked twice, resulting in serious damage to one of the main bridges of the facility. Local commercial vessels and nearby telecommunications towers were also damaged.
