It has been stated that in most parts of the country, lightning flashes occasionally, and it is raining. The rainfall in some places is of a heavy rain nature. In some places of the Balakan-Shaki zone, the precipitation has been heavy.
The amount of precipitation recorded is 165 mm in Alibey (140% of the monthly norm for Zaqatala), 57 mm in Zaqatala (74% of the monthly norm), 52 mm in Balakan (67% of the monthly norm), 21 mm in Sarybash (Gakh), 5 mm in Sadarak, 4 mm in Gadabay, 3 mm in Sharur, Agstafa, Tovuz, Lerik, 2 mm in Shaki (Kishchai), Quba, and up to 1 mm in Dashkasan, Ganja, Shamkir, Gusar, Oghuz, Khaltan, Griz, Barda, Zardab, Imishli, Yevlakh, Kalbajar, Lachin, Qubadli, Shusha as well as in Baku and the Absheron peninsula.
Currently, a north-west wind is blowing, with a maximum wind speed reaching 21 m/s in Baku and the Absheron peninsula, and 19 m/s in Julfa.
