England defeated Croatia (4:2) and Panama (2:0), drew with Ghana (0:0) in the group, eliminated Democratic Republic of Congo (2:1) in round of 16, and Mexico (3:2) in round of 8.
Spain drew with Cape Verde (0:0), won against Saudi Arabia (4:0) and Uruguay (1:0) in the group, knocked Austria out (3:0) in round of 16, and Portugal (1:0) in round of 8.
Belgium drew with Egypt (1:1) and Iran (0:0), defeated New Zealand (5:1) in the group, beat Senegal (3:2) in round of 16, and the USA (4:1) in round of 8.
Argentina won against Algeria (3:0), Austria (2:0) and Jordan (3:1) in the group, defeated Cape Verde (3:2) in round of 16, and Egypt (3:2) in round of 8.
Switzerland shared points with Qatar (1:1), won against Bosnia (4:1) and Canada (2:1) in the group, defeated Algeria (2:0) in round of 16, and sent Colombia home (0:0, 4:3 on penalties) in round of 8.
In the championship hosted by the USA, Canada, and Mexico since June 11, quarter-finals are scheduled for July 9-12, semifinals for July 14-15, and the third place game and final for July 19.
