Due to the military operations launched by the US and Israel on February 28, a total of 1,873 people have been evacuated from Iran through the Azerbaijan border.

From 08:00 on February 28 to 10:00 on March 8, 309 Azerbaijani citizens crossed the border.

Additionally, 529 from China, 282 from Russia, 173 from Tajikistan, 123 from Pakistan, 57 from Oman, 44 from Italy, 32 from Indonesia, 25 from Iran, 26 from Spain, 18 from Saudi Arabia, 16 from France, 13 from Georgia, 10 from Bulgaria, 10 from the Democratic Republic of Congo, 8 from Brazil, 8 from the United Kingdom, 7 from Belarus, 12 from Uzbekistan, 14 from Germany, 6 each from the UAE, Slovakia, and Canada, 5 from Serbia, 10 from Nigeria, 5 each from Afghanistan, Kazakhstan, the Czech Republic, Austria, and Switzerland, 4 from Bahrain, 4 from Jordan, 4 from Sri Lanka, 17 from Japan, 4 each from Ukraine, Turkey, Hungary, Belgium, Kuwait, and Bangladesh, 3 each from the Philippines, Qatar, Mexico, Finland, Croatia, and Romania, 2 each from Nepal, Lebanon, Yemen, Kyrgyzstan, Sudan, India, and Cyprus, and 1 each from Poland, Australia, Tunisia, South Africa, the Maldives, Myanmar, Cuba, Sweden, the Vatican, Argentina, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Latvia, Egypt, and the USA were evacuated from Iran to Azerbaijan.
