Passengers traveling with pets on public transportation may be fined.
According to Medianews.az, current regulations impose certain restrictions on the transportation of pets in buses and other public transport vehicles.
Specifically, according to the "Rules for Passenger and Baggage Transport by Motor Vehicles" approved by the Cabinet of Ministers' decision No. 141 dated September 17, 2009, passengers can only carry pets (cats, dogs, etc.) on public transportation in special containers (carrying bags) or cages.
The pet carrier must not obstruct other passengers and must comply with safety rules.
