Turkey's Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan has stated regarding the US-Iran tension and the Strait of Hormuz that the main goal is for the international passage to remain open and unobstructed.
Medianews.az reports that Hakan Fidan made this statement to Anadolu Agency.
The Minister noted that the parties have presented their initial positions and appear sincere about the ceasefire issue. He emphasized that if the talks conclude successfully, he does not think there will be a problem concerning the Strait of Hormuz.
H. Fidan added that Turkey supports the peaceful resolution of the conflict. According to him, the involvement of international armed forces in the region could cause serious difficulties.
