Medianews.az reports that the incident occurred on July 4, 2024, in the state of Oregon.
At night, an unidentified person cut the tent where the women were staying with a knife and entered inside. He threatened the women, demanding that they do not resist, and then kidnapped them.
As a result of the investigation, it was determined that the attack was committed by 58-year-old Jin Arnold McLennon, a resident of Salem. It is reported that he had previously been held responsible for domestic violence against a woman.
The suspect has been detained. He was charged with kidnapping and attempted sexual assault. By court decision, he will be held in custody without bail.
Investigative authorities do not rule out the possibility that McLennon may have other victims.
