Kalbajar is reuniting with its native residents. Families who have moved here have already started to establish their farms in their homesteads.
One of these residents is Ceyhun Asgarov. He is engaged in beekeeping in Kalbajar. Nestled in the mountains, surrounded by pure nature, he has formed his own farm.
"On September 15, 2025, in accordance with the 'Great Return' Program, we returned to our native homeland. Here, I work both as a teacher and manage my own farm. Since 2020, under the auspices of the Ministry of Agriculture, every summer we bring our farm to the summer pastures of Kalbajar and obtain our products from there," he told Baku TV.
The resident of Kalbajar noted that he currently has about 40 bees:
"We come to check on the bees. During the winter period, we conducted treatments. Currently, a more intensive care phase for the bees has begun."
C. Asgarov emphasized that Kalbajar’s rich nature directly affects the quality of the honey:
"The main reason is that there are thousands of species of flowers here. We give vitamins so that the bees are strong. The stronger the bees are, the more abundant our product will be."
