A Russian citizen has been arrested in Azerbaijan on charges of cybercrime.
Medianews.az reports, citing "Qafqazinfo," that Vaysero Aleksandr Vladimirovich is accused of fraudulently obtaining more than 400,000 manats from one of the banks.
He was detained and brought to investigation by the Cybercrime Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA).
Based on the collected evidence, a final charge has been filed against Vaysero Aleksandr Vladimirovich under Article 193-1.3.2 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan (legalization of property obtained by criminal means).
