Epstein victims the US government and "Google" filed a lawsuit

A group of victims of financier Jeffrey Epstein has filed a class-action lawsuit against the US administration and the "Google" search engine for the disclosure of personal data in documents published in recent months.

Medianews.az- according to Lent.az, the lawsuit states that the US government, through the Department of Justice, prioritized the rapid and widespread disclosure of information and failed to ensure the proper protection of the victims' personal data.

It is noted that later the government deleted the victims' personal data from public documents. However, the plaintiffs claim that platforms like "Google" continue to display this information despite requests.

The plaintiffs demand that the US Department of Justice pay at least $1,000 in compensation to each victim and that punitive sanctions be imposed against "Google." They believe these sanctions should be serious enough both as punishment and to prevent similar incidents in the future.

Additionally, the authors of the lawsuit demand from the court that "Google" immediately and completely delete the victims' personal data.
