Recent studies show that the microbiome affects energy levels, sleep, and even stress. British dietitian Emily Liming recommends increasing various plant-based foods in the daily diet. According to her, most people do not consume the required daily fiber norm. This causes digestive problems and a weakening of metabolism.

Experts state that although protein-based diets have become popular in recent years, fiber is now emerging as the "new essential nutrient." Especially oats, beans, lentils, berries, and seed products are considered the most beneficial choices that nourish gut bacteria.

According to research, skipping breakfast can disrupt the gut rhythm. For this reason, doctors recommend starting the day with light but fiber-rich foods. A combination of oatmeal porridge, fruit, and yogurt is considered one of the most beneficial options.

Changes are also observed in the food industry. Many manufacturers now use labels such as "prebiotic," "source of fiber," and "microbiome-friendly" on their products. Experts warn that one should pay attention not only to advertising slogans but also to the product's ingredients.
