The Chinese government has firmly denied allegations that it is preparing to supply Iran with air defense systems.
Medianews.az reports that, the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs called the news "completely fabricated."
The information was spread based on U.S. intelligence and it was alleged that the weapons could be sent through third countries. After these reports, Donald Trump also warned Beijing that such a move could have serious consequences.
The ministry's spokesperson Quo Ciakun considered the allegations unfounded and emphasized that his country conducts a responsible policy in military exports in accordance with international rules.
