The rights of enforcement officers will be expanded.
Medianews.az reports that this is reflected in the draft law on amendments to the "Law on State Enforcement Officers," discussed at the meeting of the Legal Policy and State Building Committee of the National Assembly held on April 17.
According to the current law, an enforcement officer may direct a claim to the debtor's funds and other valuables in their account, deposits in banks or other credit institutions, and may take measures in the manner prescribed by law to determine the location of the debtor, their property, or their child.
According to the proposed amendment, the enforcement officer may direct a claim to the debtor's property, including cash or accounts and deposits in banks, other credit organizations, and electronic money institutions, as well as funds held in pledge and other assets, and may take measures in the manner prescribed by law to determine the location of the debtor, their property, the head of the enforcement body of the legal entity debtor, or the debtor's child./trend.az
