According to the information from the Ministry of Energy on December 30, the barrel of Azerbaijani oil branded "AzeriLight" is being sold for $65.57.
Medianews.az reports that this is $13.43 lower than the starting price of the year.
In Azerbaijan's 2025 budget, the price of one barrel of oil was taken as $70; "AzeriLight" started January at 79, February at 78.52, March at 75.68, April at 78.29, May at 65.13, June at 68.82, July at 72.01, August at 72.70, September at 70.54, October at 69.86, November at 65.87, and December at 66.22 dollars.
The state budget for 2026 relies on an average annual export price of $65 per barrel of oil.
