Elvin, the son of Azerbaijani lawyer Elman Pashayev, known for scandals in Russia, has been detained in connection with the "black realtors" case.

It was stated that the 26-year-old Elvin has been in pre-trial detention since February, especially on charges of large-scale fraud. However, court documents reveal that the criminal case that led to his arrest was opened in October 2025 after the owner of an apartment in Moscow went missing and was later charged with murder. That apartment had been acquired by Elvin’s father, Elman Pashayev, before his own arrest. Currently, Elman Pashayev is on trial in Donetsk for taking millions to resolve high-profile criminal cases and practically doing nothing.
According to information, in 2024 while in the military operation zone, Elman Pashayev allegedly agreed to register the problematic apartment in the name of one of the soldiers from the 5th Motorized Rifle Brigade named after A.V. Zakharchenko. The “black realtors” were behind this property - the apartment owner had gone missing and was never found, and how the property ended up in Elman’s possession is still unknown.
“However, after being placed in pre-trial detention, Elman began to worry that the soldier would keep the apartment and convinced him to transfer the real estate to his son. After a while, the body of the owner was found - according to preliminary information, the body was dismembered. The soldier in whose name the apartment was registered was interrogated, and although son Pashayev was involved in the investigation of the ‘black realtors’ case, he was only charged with fraud. We contacted his mother, Alyona, but she refused to comment,” the report said.
In November 2024, a freeze was placed on Elvin's company accounts; currently, “MHK Elman Grupp” LLC has a tax debt of 53,000 rubles (1,240 AZN - ed.) and the accounts have been blocked due to non-payment of the debt, and the accounts of the "Pashayev Fund" founded together with his father were closed for failure to submit declarations. //Oxu.Az
