The Central Bank regulates the official exchange rates of foreign currencies in Azerbaijan.
Medianews.az reports that during the 2015 devaluations, the official price of the US dollar increased from 0.7844 manat to 1.5594 manat, reaching 1.7707 manat in 2016.
The maximum price was recorded in February 2017: 1.92 manat. The dollar, which ended that year at 1.7001 manat, has been offered to banks at 1.7 manat since March 7, 2018.
