The prices of a group of medicines in Azerbaijan have been regulated.
Medianews.az reports that the relevant decision was made at today's meeting of the Tariff (Price) Council.
At the meeting, the upper price limit for 183 newly state-registered medicines was approved, the upper price limit for 2 medicines was lowered, and in order to ensure reliable supply, changes were made to the upper price limit of 30 medicines in accordance with the Rules approved by the Cabinet of Ministers' Decision No. 209 dated June 3, 2015, and the Instruction approved by the Tariff (Price) Council's Decision dated July 21, 2015.
Considering the trade name, pharmaceutical form, active ingredient, dosage, trade packaging, quantity, and country of manufacture, the complete list of medicines whose upper price limits have been approved is posted in the "Medicines" section (www.tariff.gov.az) of the Tariff (Price) Council's official website (http://tariff.gov.az/documents/DVA.pdf).
The decision takes effect on March 16.
