On April 23, the price of a barrel of Azerbaijani oil under the “AzəriLayt” brand rose to 113.11 dollars.
Medianews.az reports that this is 48.11 dollars higher than the budgeted amount.
In the 2026 state budget, a barrel of oil was taken at 65 dollars, and “AzəriLayt” started January at 65.71, February at 69.72, March at 79.60, and April at 132.35 dollars.
The oil price sharply increased amid rising tensions between the US and Israel with Iran since February 28.
