Medianews.az, citing the State Statistics Committee, reports that in the January-July period, 54,898 births, 34,994 deaths, 27,509 marriages, and 12,146 divorces were registered; per 1,000 people, there were 9.2 births, 5.9 deaths, 4.6 marriages, and 2 divorces.
The natural increase per 1,000 people (birth-death ratio) is 3.3; compared to January-July 2024, births decreased by 6.1%, divorces by 4.8%, and marriages increased by 2.2%.
