The license granted to “AtaSığorta” Open Joint Stock Company for insurance activities has been revoked.
The information was provided to Medianews.az by the Central Bank.
The information states that the revocation of the license was due to “AtaSığorta” voluntarily applying to the Central Bank.
The insurance license for “AtaSığorta” OJSC was granted on November 10, 2009.
The Central Bank’s Board of Directors made the decision to revoke the license on April 17, 2026.
The Central Bank states that the revocation of the license does not pose any threat to the financial stability and resilience of the insurance sector: “The liquidation process will be supervised by the Central Bank within the framework of the legislation of the Republic of Azerbaijan.”
