In the first quarter of 2026, Azerbaijan's imports were registered at a value of 4 billion 4.6 million dollars.
Medianews.az reports that imports of machines, mechanisms, electrical apparatus, equipment and their parts amounted to 970.5 million dollars, imports of vehicles and their parts amounted to 608.5 million dollars, and imports of food products amounted to 665.5 million dollars.
The State Customs Committee ranked the remaining main products by import value as follows:
black metals and products made from them - 271.6 million dollars;
plastics and products made from them - 130.4 million dollars;
pharmaceutical products - 125.1 million dollars;
clothing and clothing accessories - 101.2 million dollars;
wood and wood products - 77.7 million dollars;
tobacco and tobacco products - 30.4 million dollars;
fertilizers - 29.4 million dollars;
furniture and its parts - 26.4 million dollars.
