To review appeals regarding exam results, an Appeals Commission will operate at the SEC. Those wishing to apply to the Appeals Commission can register by filling out the electronic application on the SEC website from 10:00 on May 18 until 17:00 on May 20. Those who do not register within the specified period will not be able to appeal to the Appeals Commission later. In the electronic application, the number of the task being appealed must be selected, the content of the appeal must be written, and the clause of the criteria according to which it is considered must be indicated. Applications not containing the content of the appeal will not be accepted, and such appeals will not be examined.

The appeal process is conducted in the following sequence:

The Appeals Commission reviews all works subject to appeal;

An expert opinion (written) on the tasks appealed by the exam participants is attached to the appeal applications;
A "sms" notification about the completion of the appeal process is sent to the phone number indicated in the appeal applications of the exam participants.

After this, students (applicants) can log into their applications on the apelyasiya.dim.gov.az website, get acquainted with the results of the appeal, and print out the expert opinion from there.

Appeals related to answers written in non-compliant ways on the answer sheet, including corrections that cause the optical device to mistakenly mark the answer as wrong (e.g., shading two circles in a multiple-choice question, etc.), will not be considered.

Before applying to the Appeals Commission, students (applicants) can familiarize themselves with their results, graphical representation of the answer sheet, evaluation criteria for each open-type task, and the conditional notations and explanations of tasks at the page related to exam results on the SEC website (https://shorturl.at/r0TdK). Experience from previous exams shows that approximately 15% of those who write appeals did not answer the task at all or applied to the commission without comparing their own answers with possible correct answers and the evaluation scale. We inform exam participants that such appeals will not be considered.
