One of Europe's longest non-stop train lines is opening. Tickets for the line, which is over 1300 kilometers long, will be on sale starting from 10 euros.
According to Medianews.az, "Leo Express," a private international train and bus operator based in Prague, is starting a huge railway project connecting Central and Eastern Europe. The company announced that starting from June 25, it will launch new train services connecting major city centers in Germany, the Czech Republic, and Poland to the Ukrainian border via a non-stop line.
The train departing from Przemyśl, a Polish city on the Ukrainian border, will pass through Krakow, Ostrava, Prague, Dresden, Leipzig, and Erfurt, reaching the city center of Frankfurt am Main and Frankfurt Airport. Planned as a once-daily service in each direction, this line will allow passengers to travel across Europe from one end to the other by a single train.
Peter Köhler, CEO of Leo Express, commented on the new line and emphasized the symbolic and strategic importance of the project:
"With the new line, we are removing the iron curtains between Western and Eastern Europe, connecting key European centers, and providing access to Ukraine."
It has been reported that passengers will benefit from standard amenities such as free Wi-Fi throughout the journey, charging stations for devices, a wide range of food and beverages, and continuous air conditioning. (Musavat.com)
