In the period from January to June of this year, there have been 21 incidents of stones being thrown at passenger trains operated by "Azerbaijan Railways" CJSC (ADY).

According to the information, these incidents have caused material damage to the trains, and the safety of passengers and train crew has been seriously threatened. Individuals committing such illegal acts are detected by law enforcement agencies and held accountable in accordance with the legislation.
"In cases where minors commit such actions, their parents or legal representatives bear responsibility as determined by the legislation," the CJSC states.
ADY appeals to parents, asking them to keep their children away from such dangerous actions and to have educational conversations with them regarding safe behavior rules around the railway.
