The Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced: Among our citizens, those injured…

Since the first day of the military escalation, our embassies and consulates located in the region have continued their activities in an enhanced mode, and measures are being taken to provide appropriate support to our citizens.
According to Medianews.az, Ayxan Hacızadə, head of the Press Service Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, stated this while answering a local media question regarding the evacuation of our citizens from the Middle East region.
According to him, so far, except for one person, none of our citizens have been injured. Regarding the evacuation of our citizens, today, 193 Azerbaijani citizens, 9 Azerbaijani citizens with Georgian citizenship, and 5 Azerbaijani citizens with Russian citizenship were brought to our country from the city of Jeddah in Saudi Arabia by a special plane flight belonging to Azerbaijan Airlines.
In addition, the regular return flights of our citizens located in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to our country are being carried out by the relevant airlines of the UAE. Yesterday, a total of 257 Azerbaijani citizens returned to our country. Today, one regular flight from Dubai city and on March 5, two regular flights are planned.
Furthermore, work is underway to evacuate 200 of our citizens currently in Qatar with a special flight by our country. It should be noted that since the airspace of Qatar is closed, the evacuation of our citizens is planned through the territory of Saudi Arabia.
Also, according to the travel warning shared by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Azerbaijani citizens in the territory of Iran use the Azerbaijan and Turkey land borders for exit from Iran depending on their location area. So far, 260 of our citizens have crossed the Azerbaijan border.
Currently, our citizens in the region are requested to carefully monitor the security situation, comply with the instructions and recommendations of local authorities, avoid places of mass gatherings, and strengthen personal security measures.
