Export statistics of Azerbaijan: first quarter
Medianews.az has reviewed Azerbaijan's export statistics.
According to the report of the State Customs Committee, out of the $5.4 billion worth of exports formalized in the first quarter of 2026, $4.5 billion belongs to the oil and gas sector, and $5 million to electric energy.
The remaining main export products are listed as follows:
fruits and vegetables - $187 million;
plastics and products made from them - $65.3 million;
aluminum and products made from it - $63.8 million;
cotton fiber - $57.5 million;
chemical industry products - $46.4 million;
sugar - $27.9 million;
ferrous metals and products made from them - $24.8 million;
alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, vinegar - $14 million;
processed products of vegetables and fruits - $10.9 million;
cotton yarn - $10.2 million;
plant and animal-based fats and oils - $9.8 million;
cement - $9.2 million;
tea - $1.7 million.
