In Muğla province of Turkey, a detention order has been issued for dietitian Onur Kılınç, who shared an image of a pig wearing a hijab on social media.
Medianews.az reports that the sharing of the artificially intelligence-generated image caused public unrest.
The dietitian shared the said visual on his social media account and attributed it to artificial intelligence creativity. After the post, the Muğla prosecutor's office launched an investigation.
During the investigation, Kılınç was detained at his home, and a laptop and two mobile phones were confiscated during a search. Although he was initially placed under judicial control with a ban on leaving the country, he was detained again following the prosecutor's objection.
Subsequently, Onur Kılınç was brought before the court and detention was chosen as a preventive measure against him.
