Turkey has deployed 6 F-16 aircraft in Northern Cyprus.
The information was released by the Turkish Ministry of National Defense.
It was stated that this step was taken with the aim of strengthening the security of Northern Cyprus in the context of recent events in the region:
"Thus, 6 F-16 fighter aircraft and air defense systems have been deployed in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus starting from today. Additional measures will be taken if necessary in accordance with the course of events." /Report
