Majid Moqadasi, an Iranian-American living in Los Angeles, United States, has received a personal condolence letter from US President Donald Trump regarding the killing of his 17-year-old relative Arfan Fereji.
The information was published by the "New York Post." According to Moqadasi, Arfan was killed during anti-government protests in Iran on January 8.
"I was very moved when I received President Trump's letter. I felt that my relative's voice was finally heard," he said.
In the letter, Trump stated that his administration is making every effort to bring the ayatollah and his regime to justice. He also promised to support the Iranian people's struggle for freedom and democracy.
It should be noted that Moqadasi appealed to the White House two days after the tragedy and received an official response on January 13./oxu.az
