US President Donald Trump has announced that an additional 5,000 American soldiers will be sent to Poland.
Medianews.az reports that Trump shared this on his social media account and announced the new military deployment decision towards Poland.
He touched on his relations with Polish President Karol Navrotski, stating that the decision to send additional military forces to Poland was made within the framework of cooperation and partnership between the two countries. Trump noted that he is pleased with the victory of Karol Navrotski, whom he supports, in the presidential election.
After Trump's statement, Polish President Karol Navrotski also issued a statement on his social media account.
Navrotski emphasized that the Poland-US alliance is of important significance for both his country and Europe in terms of security. He stated that this alliance is built on principles of cooperation, mutual respect, and shared security.
The Polish leader thanked Trump for the support shown to his country and stated that the security of the Polish people is his main priority.
