Despite ongoing contacts between the parties regarding the peaceful resolution of the conflict, the United States will continue to strike Iran.
This was stated by U.S. President Donald Trump at a meeting with his cabinet at the White House.
"Now they have a chance to completely abandon Iran's nuclear ambitions and chart a new path. We will see whether they want to do that. Otherwise, we will be their worst nightmare. For now, we will just continue to blow them up without any hindrance; nothing will be able to stop us," he said.
It is worth recalling that shortly after the United States and Israel launched a joint operation against Iran on February 28, armed clashes between the Israel Defense Forces and Hezbollah resumed. In response, Iran launched missiles into Israeli territory. Additionally, Iranian forces attacked U.S. military bases located in Gulf countries. Due to the situation in the Middle East, some countries in the region temporarily closed their airspace. On the same day, Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei was killed as a result of attacks by the United States and Israel.
