ATTENTION to those preparing for the wedding: Have prices increased after the fasting period?

The break given to weddings during the month of Ramadan has now ended, and there is a revival being observed in the banquet halls. However, the month of Muharram is approaching. For this reason, a slowdown is expected to occur again in the banquet halls.

Medianews.az reports that the majority of citizens are planning their wedding ceremonies after the month of Muharram.

But can this situation affect the prices of menus? Baku TV contacted several restaurants to find out.

“We have wedding orders for the days from the end of March to April, May, and up to June 15. Starting from April 16, the month of Muharram begins. After that, orders are slowly being made. Usually, they come and reserve dates on the eve of Muharram. The price increase does not depend on us. If there is no increase in the market, we will not raise prices either. If there is a significant increase in the market, there might be a difference of 3-5 manats with us,” said one of the administrators.

“Our weddings are going well after the Ramadan holiday. There is no increase in prices. Orders are also being taken for dates after the month of Muharram and there is still no change in prices. Although there is an increase in the market, prices remain the same for now,” said another administrator.

It appears that a price increase is not expected at this time. However, the situation could change if there is an increase in product prices in the market.

It should be noted that currently, menu prices in banquet halls start from a minimum of 45-50 manats. In some restaurants, this figure is offered at 100 manats or more.
