Rüdiger's move to "Real" created disagreement

The management of Spain's "Real Madrid" football club has offered a new contract to Antonio Rüdiger, one of the team's main defenders. However, there are differing views between the parties regarding the duration of the contract.

Medianews.az reports, citing Sport.Biz and the well-known insider Jose Felix Diaz, that the "royal club" has offered the experienced defender to extend the duration of his current contract by one more year. Rüdiger's initial request, however, was to renew the contract for two years.

Nevertheless, the leadership of the Madrid representative hopes that the German footballer will accept the club's offer. In accordance with the club's policy applied to players over the age of 30, contracts are usually extended for one year.

It should be recalled that Antonio Rüdiger joined "Real" in the summer of 2022 as a free agent from "Chelsea." In a short time, he became one of the key figures in the center of defense in Carlo Ancelotti's team.
