Red ginseng tea – A miracle that protects the heart and vessels

Red ginseng tea lowers cholesterol and protects against heart diseases.

Medianews.az reports citing Medicina.az that, according to dietitian Igor Strokov, the drink also lowers blood pressure and blood sugar levels.

Cholesterol is a fat present in the blood and can cause blockages if accumulated in large amounts. If left untreated, this can lead to a number of dangerous diseases and emergencies such as heart disease, heart attack, and stroke.

High cholesterol can be reduced through lifestyle changes such as reducing saturated fat intake, quitting smoking, and avoiding alcohol:

"Since many of us try to find natural ways to improve our health, Korean red ginseng tea has become even more popular in recent years. This warming drink is made from the root of Korean ginseng (which should not be confused with the very different American or Siberian ginseng). The tea has an earthy taste, so it is usually mixed with honey, sugar, or lemon. It is a better choice than high-sugar energy drinks and is a good alternative to coffee if coffee makes you nervous. The drink also has strong antioxidant properties."

The drink is rich in the following:

Vitamin C

Flavonoids

Ginsenosides

Other phenolic acids.

Many studies show that Korean red ginseng can help regulate blood pressure, cholesterol, and blood sugar.
