Portuguese media claim that "Qarabag" continues to be interested in Joao Goulart.
Medianews.az, referring to Offsideplus.az, reports that several other clubs besides Azerbaijan's representative are interested in the 26-year-old central defender of Portugal’s "Casa Pia" club. Last month, the "Casa Pia" management, having secured its place in the Portuguese top league, intends to earn a certain amount from Goulart’s transfer and is not opposed to this move.
The defender's contract with his club is valid until the end of the next season.
It should be noted that earlier Portuguese media wrote that "Qarabag" was close to signing a contract with another local footballer — midfielder Samuel Lobato.
