"An artist does not have money or good conditions. An artist does not have 99.99 percent of an apartment. Knowing this, they still go into art. Why? Because in their 2-hour and 45-minute performance, they act out their dreams and consider themselves a king. An actor must be brought into art by explaining these things to them. They must know that they are making a sacrifice. It is not said in vain that art demands sacrifice."
Medianews.az reports that these words were said by People's Artist Afaq Bəşirqızı.
The actress spoke about male-female relationships: "A husband and wife should not differentiate between each other in the family. A woman should not belittle her husband. If I had the power, I would wipe out those kinds of people. Your life partner is your 'emblem.' The crown on your head, is yours. There is no home where everything is perfect. After a while, love turns into respect and habituation. Whether in life or beside your spouse, you should not hide anything. The control over a woman must be strong. No one should be upset. There must be effort on the woman’s part. Not with a fist. One time, I called a channel director and said, ‘This is not appropriate, my grandchild and daughter-in-law are watching.’ I was afraid; when they came, I used to turn off the TV. He replied, 'Do you know how much honorarium this show brings?'"
