"We will not only take no sharp steps against Russia, but we will also deepen relations further."
Medianews.az reports that Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said this.
"I have, in the true sense of the word, friendship relations with Russian President Vladimir Putin. I doubt that since 2018 the Russian President has maintained so many relations with any other leader. During this period, we have had more than 200 phone conversations, only phone calls," the Prime Minister said.
Pashinyan added that he has very warm friendship relations with the head of the Russian government for eight years:
"Our attitude towards Russia is very warm. The problem lies elsewhere here. In many cases, the opposition talks to us about 'equal relations with Russia.' Russia is a superpower; we approach it as one should approach such a superpower — with respect and reverence."
The Prime Minister emphasized that he treats not only Russia but also the Russian President and the head of its government in the same manner.//Telegraph
