A terrorist attack has been carried out in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan.
Milli.Az reports that 11 soldiers were killed as a result of the terrorist attack.
"The terrorist attack carried out with a vehicle loaded with explosives at the checkpoint in the Bachaur district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province caused the death of security forces," the publication stated, citing the press service of the Pakistan Armed Forces.
According to the information, seven more people, including women and children, suffered varying degrees of bodily injuries.
Pakistani officials believe that the banned "Tehrik-e Taliban Pakistan" movement is behind the attack in the country. As a result of countermeasures, 12 terrorists were eliminated.
