The Electronic Security Service of the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport is investigating the appeal of the Novator.az website, which was subjected to illegal interference.
According to Medianews.az, preliminary results indicate that it is impossible to restore the website’s archive.
In the appeal sent to the Electronic Security Service by Novator.az on November 3, it was noted that the site was completely destroyed as a result of illegal interference, and the fraudsters who accessed the site’s server on October 27 destroyed a 10-year archive. According to information provided to the editorial office from Namecheap.com, where the server is located, the interference was from an IP address in Brazil.
The Electronic Security Service is investigating the attack on the site and in the preliminary response given to the editorial office on November 19, it was stated that restoring the archive is impossible.
Novator.az, which has been operating since the fall of 2015, was selected for its educational approach, has never been taken to court, and has never faced warnings or objections from any state body or other organization.
