Disinformation undermines trust in the media in Azerbaijan.
"Report" informs that this was stated by the Deputy Executive Director of the Media Development Agency, Natiq Mammadli, at a public discussion on the topic "Disinformation: as the most serious threat on a global scale and in the reality of Azerbaijan."
According to him, in general, in international media experience, public trust decreases due to fake news:
"The spreading disinformation seriously undermines people's confidence in the media. It is already necessary to take action against this. Numerous steps are being taken and certain forums are organized both in international media and in our country in the direction of combating disinformation."
