The National Assembly's new Central Election Commission confirmed the composition

The National Assembly has adopted a draft decision on the reformation of the Central Election Commission (CEC).

Medianews.az reports that the document was discussed at today's plenary session of the parliament.

Regarding the appointment of CEC members and their substitutes, the candidates for representation in the commission from the New Azerbaijan Party, parties with a minority of members in the National Assembly, and parties with a minority of members in the National Assembly are as follows:

Members of the Central Election Commission:

Abdullayeva Sevinc Qurban gizi, Javadov Fuad Musa oglu, Asgarov Bakhseyish Mammad oglu, Asgarova Naile Shahmerdan gizi, Hasanov Tofiq Eldar oglu, Khalafov Elchin Abuzar oglu, Ibrahimov Ramiz Hilal oglu, Gasimov Rovzat Afet oglu, Gahramanli Almas Alisultan gizi, Guliyev Etibar Jafar oglu, Mammadov Elmar Eldar oglu, Mammadov Ilham Sabir oglu, Mukhtarova Arifa Agaverdi gizi, Orucov Gabil Ahmad oglu, Pashayev Huseyn Mammad oglu, Panahov Mazahir Muhammad oglu, Rahimov Mikayil Rehman oglu, Shahbazov Ilkin Zaur oglu.

Substitute members of the CEC:

Jalilova Aysel Zaur gizi, Karayeva Zuria Ruslan gizi, Mustafayeva Elnara Eyub gizi.

The draft was put to a vote and approved after discussions.

Thus, the listed composition of the CEC members has been confirmed.

Let us recall that according to the legislation, the term of office for all election commissions in Azerbaijan is 5 years.
