German politician, chairman of the foreign affairs committee of the country's parliament - Bundestag, Armin Laschet was involved in an accident while riding an electric scooter.
Medianews.az reports that the famous political figure's ulna bone is broken. He, although currently can move with a sling on his arm, continues his work and has been seen with his arm bandaged at several events.
It is not yet known how the accident occurred.
Laschet is one of the politicians who frequently moves around the capital Berlin by electric scooter.
According to doctors, the recovery process may take from several weeks to three months.
Armin Laschet served as the Prime Minister of the North Rhine-Westphalia region from 2017 to 2021. He chaired the Christian Democratic Union from 2021 to 2022 and was one of the candidates for the chancellor post.
