Mert Yazıcıoğlu is back on air with this role again

Turkish actor Mert Yazıcıoğlu returns to the screens with his new project.

Demokrat.az reports that he will play the lead role in the series "Aras," produced by TMC Film for Netflix.

According to the information, the actor chose this decision among new projects he considered after the series "Kuruluş Orhan." The director of the series will be Ömür Atay, who also directed his previous work "Kızıl Goncalar."

New details about the storyline of the series have also emerged. It is stated that Yazıcıoğlu will portray "Aras," an emergency doctor living in Istanbul with his dog. Learning that everything he knew about his life was a lie, Aras travels to Doğubayazıt to find his roots and finds himself in the middle of a blood feud in a mansion there. During this process, he becomes close to a character named "Ceylan."

Filming of the series is expected to start soon.
