Some mistakes made during dieting prevent a person from losing weight.
Lent.az reports that Russian nutritionist Anna Drobysheva spoke about this.
According to her, one of the biggest mistakes is not drinking enough water.
"To lose weight, you need to drink at least eight glasses of pure water a day. Water removes harmful substances and waste from the body, reduces appetite. Do not replace pure water with other high-calorie drinks," the expert said.
She said the second biggest mistake is related to fat intake.
"Girls who want to lose weight avoid consuming fat because it is high in calories. But when there is not enough fat, fat-soluble vitamins are not absorbed. This leads to major health problems. It is more important to reduce the amount of carbohydrates, not fats."
As the third biggest mistake for those who want to lose weight, the nutritionist cited the absence of protein in the diet. "Protein plays a key role in maintaining muscle mass and burning body fat. Include protein-rich foods in every meal. They should make up at least 1/4 of the plate. My advice for those who still do not understand the subject of nutrition: start losing weight with dinner. Breakfast should be plentiful, then you will not crave unhealthy foods throughout the day. The ideal dinner for losing weight is as follows: protein + fiber," Drobysheva concluded her words.
