On October 22, the Central Bank's Board of Directors announced that the discount rate (interest rate on loans given to commercial banks in manats) was kept at 7 percent. This rate has been in effect since July 24.
Medianews.az reports that the final decision on the discount rate for 2025 will be announced on December 10.
The year started at 7.25 percent.
